You have questions, we have answers!
Attending or helping support a Royal Family Kid's Camp is, simply put, an amazing experience. There is an incredibly inspirational mix of laughter, tears, excitement, exhaustion, prayer, praise, play, eats and (finally) sleep. We do this all for the children, and yet so many volunteers feel equally fulfilled. Focused, interactive training happens well ahead of camp. Talk to a Royal Family Team Member on the courtyard, and we'll be happy to provide more details.
Campers and volunteers attend the week free of charge. This is possible because of the kindness and generosity of SCG church attendees.
Coin Jars are our primary source of funding for camp! We'll be handing them out after services and on the courtyard.
Jars (full of coins and big checks, of course) will be collected after services on the courtyard. If you 'discover' a jar from last year (yes, look behind the flour), bring it to church, and we'll put it to good use.
Thank you for making camp happen!
Have we got a job for you! Camper Departure, Everybody's Birthday Party, Camper Return and Welcome Home Dinner are all one day activities that need the support and kindness of our SCG family. Check out the How Can I Help Page for more details.
Volunteer Applications should be filled out for all volunteers that will serve the entire week.
If you are helping out in a limited capacity (e.g. Departure, Return or Birthday Party), the new or returning volunteer application is not needed. Simply click on the links for those teams on the "How Can I Help" page.
Volunteers who commit to camp are provided with two Saturday training sessions, camp itself (Sunday to Friday), and a welcome home dinner (Saturday).
Mandatory volunteer training (two all-day sessions) is usually a month or so ahead of camp. 2025 Camp is July 6-11.
Please keep the volunteers, camp staff, foster families and especially the children in your prayers.
2025 Camp Dates are July 6-11th. Mark your calendars!!
